Happy New Year from Well Roasted Coffee! Thank you again for all your support last year, and for all your pre-Christmas purchases. For those who ordered it, we hope you really enjoyed our speciality Festive Blend.
Here’s to a great 2025, filled with warmth and hopeful new beginnings that January can bring, and of course, excellent coffee. As the days are crisp and cosy mornings are calling, we’re here to help you brew something really special.
This month, we’re looking forward to our new and upcoming events, and reminding you to make some plans to catch up with friends and loved ones on Brew Monday. We do also have to let you know of a price increase that we need to introduce from 1st February.
Brew Monday
Monday 20th January 2025 is Brew Monday in the UK, a wonderful initiative by Samaritans to encourage us all to connect with someone over a warm cup and a good chat. It’s the perfect reminder that a simple coffee moment can brighten someone’s day. Haven’t heard from someone in a while? Brew Monday reminds us to reach out and catch up with the people we care about.
Coffee Classes for 2025
Now that the gifting season is over it’s time to think about what you might like to do in 2025. With your love of coffee, perhaps you might like to join one of our new coffee classes or book yourself some barista training? Spaces for classes are limited so please do book as soon as you can.
Coffee Roasting Class: An opportunity to see and understand how coffee is roasted.
Dates: Saturday 1st February 2025, Saturday 5th April 2025
Coffee Brewing Class: Discover the art of making exceptional coffee using various brewing methods including AeroPress, French Press and Dripper.
Dates: Saturday 1st March 2025, Saturday 7th June 2025
Barista Coffee Making Skills Course: An in depth but relaxed training. How to make espresso, milk steaming and basic latte art skills.

Coffee Prices Increase
We let you know back in our April 2024 Newsletter about the world increase in coffee prices and some of the reasons for this, mainly extreme climate changes. Today as a result we need to let you know of a small increase in our prices, across all our coffees, from 1st February. Since mid-2023 when coffee prices began to increase we have managed to absorb those costs throughout that time, but now, with business costs rising also, we must introduce a modest increase. This will ensure we can provide the same excellent, ethically sourced speciality coffees and the same (we hope you agree!) exceptional service. We really do appreciate your understanding and your loyalty as we make this change.

Remember the most cost effective way to order your coffee is always via our 1kg Subscription Service. We also have free national delivery over £22, and if you are local we offer free delivery within a 5 mile radius, or you can choose to collect directly from us here at the roastery. Just select your preferred option at checkout.
